Run with purpose.
Belong to something bigger.
Welcome to Society Track Club.
Society Track Club is built on shared passion, relentless determination, and unwavering support - whether you’re chasing a PR or simply finding your stride.
Society Track Club started with one runner’s vision: to make track workouts less intimidating. With just 13 people at the first session, the message was clear—you don’t need to hit a certain paces to belong on the track. Today, over 50 runners join us for Thursday track nights, where connection and encouragement thrive. We began hosting runs every Thursday aside from our track night to supplement the hard efforts. From those early days, the idea grew into something bigger: bringing back the old-school feel of a sports team while welcoming runners of all levels. Whether you’re chasing goals or running for the joy of it, this is your community.
How we started
Track night is where the magic of Society Track Club comes alive.
Runners of all paces and experience levels come together to push their limits, support one another, and grow stronger as a community.
Our workouts are designed to be inclusive and adaptable, offering the perfect balance of structure and flexibility to meet your goals. From the warm-up lap to the post-workout cool down, you'll find encouragement, friendship, and maybe even a new PR.
More than just a workout, track night is about building confidence, breaking barriers, and redefining what it means to belong. Come for the workout, stay for the community.
Community Runs
Every Thursday at 6:00 PM (except our monthly track workout), we meet at the D&W on Wealthy St. in Gaslight Village, East Grand Rapids, for a social run open to everyone.
With 3 and 5-mile route options, these runs are designed to bring runners of all paces together in a relaxed, supportive environment. Whether you’re catching up with friends, meeting new ones, or just looking to add some miles to your week, our community runs are the perfect blend of movement and connection.
