Expectations
We’re all about balance—giving to the team and growing as individuals. Here’s what we ask from members:
Race Commitment: Participate in at least two races per year, at any distance or effort level.
Volunteer Locally: Help at least one local race annually.
Team Events: Show up for team practices, events, and social gatherings.
Represent the Team: Wear team gear at races and events.
Give Back: Volunteer at least once outside of running

Team Highlights
Marathon PRs
Our team continues to break barriers, with several members achieving personal bests this year. Highlights include countless PRs, multiple sub-3-hour marathon finishes, sub 2:45 marathon finishes, Boston Qualifiers, and acceptance times.
Community Impact
Our team’s service initiatives, including volunteering with the Renucci House, Girls on the Run, local races, and My Team Triumph have made a tangible difference in our local community. We’re proud to give back and support meaningful causes.
Elite Racing
Multiple Athletes raced Detroit Free Press Marathon as a part of the Elite Field, the Riverbank 25k Elite Field, and will be a part of the Elite field for the 2025 500 Festival Mini Marathon in the Spring.
CIM Documentary Filming
In collaboration with Noah Wyn, we began documenting the journey of STC athletes preparing for the California International Marathon. This project showcases the highs and lows of marathon training and what it means to be part of a team.
Partnerships and Sponsorships
Our collaboration with sponsors such as OOFOS and New Balance brought custom team gear and elevated our events, including a viewing party for an exciting running documentary. These partnerships continue to enhance our team experience.
Local Race Wins
Many of our athletes placed in the top three at several local races this year, showcasing the team’s competitive edge and love for racing. The support from teammates on the sidelines was unmatched!

We are looking for athletes who are interested in finding a team to train with. The group is open to runners training in the Greater Grand Rapids Area.
